    Developing a Digital Citizenship Campaign

    This summer, Sophia Spraggins与学生事务办公室合作，参与就业准备经验(ERE)实习. After a great deal of discussion and cooperation, Sophia chose a subject that was important to her: Digital Citizenship. 她第一次了解这个话题是在艾丽西亚·贝丝(Alicia Beth)教授的数字素养课上. 索菲亚选择关注主题的几个方面，这些都包括在她开发的活动中.

    Because Sophia had an interest in communications, and a desire to inform her fellow students, 她决定利用校园广播电台是一个很好的开始. With the cooperation of Daniel Molster, WLMC’s station manager, 索菲亚录制了5个公益广告(psa)，目的是向校园广播. 这些公益广告涉及五个重要领域，指导学生在使用互联网时的安全行为. 这些领域被称为5p，分别是:个人资料、许可、隐私、保护和积极性.

    Once Part I of her project was complete, she then moved on to the next informational phase, Part II, which was developing a Code of Conduct for student internet users. 这份声明强调了学生在使用互联网时保持道德和负责任的重要性. Sophia then recorded this information as another PSA.

    The Six College Collaborative Internship Program & BDCC Partnership

  • An internship at Landmark College is a career-related, credit-bearing experience that can provide mentorship, training, and exposure in a given field. 我们致力于为学生提供获得体验式学习机会所需的资源，并将他们在课堂上学到的知识付诸实践.

    Students pursuing credit-bearing internships must follow the Academic Affairs Internship Policy. 有学分的实习建议必须由 May 13 for fall and summer internships and December 2 for spring. 夏季学期的三个学分实习需要1600美元的费用.
